Mini-Mall!

It’s Mini-Mall time again!

To all the loyal fans who purchased the library’s student-created bookmarks for 50 cents last year, the $1.50 we made was put to good use. It was used as the postage for the REACH grant application we submitted this December.

Despite last year’s commercial success, I will not be selling this year, but shopping and supervising the organized chaos. I say “organized” because our assistant principal Howard has devised a plan to maintain both the Mini-Mall spirit AND crowd control. In compliance, I will only be using staircase B to travel between the K-1 sales on the first floor and “Da Club” on the third floor.

This year my shopping strategy is to buy lots of student-made jewelry and wear it all to the Moving On ceremony in June. You can never wear too many beads and macaroni necklaces at one time.
