President | Hollis Scarborough
Hollis grew up in Texas and moved to Washington Heights as an actress in 2003. She is wife to Percy and mom to Huck (4th grade), Etta (1st grade), and a ridiculous doodle named Cricket (who will make spontaneous appearances on Zoom PA meetings from time to time). After becoming a mom, Hollis co-founded her own online business and serves as the Chief Creative Officer. She has served as the P.A. Corresponding Secretary from 2022-2024, Co-President from 2024-2025, and is honored to serve as President alongside this amazing team for another year. Her biggest hope is for you to feel welcome in this community and that, together, we can continue the great tradition of growth, creativity, and academic excellence for which Muscota is known.
Hollis creció en Texas y se mudó a Washington Heights como actriz en 2003. Es esposa de Percy y madre de Huck (4.º grado), Etta (1.º grado) y un pequeño y peculiar personaje llamado Cricket (que de vez en cuando aparece espontáneamente en las reuniones de asistente personal de Zoom). Tras ser madre, Hollis cofundó su propio negocio en línea y se desempeña como directora creativa. Se desempeñó como secretaria de correspondencia de asistente personal de 2022 a 2024, copresidenta de 2024 a 2025 y se siente honrada de ser presidenta junto a este increíble equipo un año más. Vice President | AmY ANDREWS
Amy Andrews (she/her) has lived in New York since 2009 and in Washington Heights since 2012. Her daughter Melody is in second grade in Ellen’s class. Amy has previously served the Muscota community as a class parent and as Corresponding Secretary. This year, as Vice President, she aims to ensure that all families have the information they need to feel like valued members of the Muscota community. Let’s support our kiddos and their wonderful school!
Amy Andrews (ella) vive en Nueva York desde 2009 y en Washington Heights desde 2012. Su hija Melody cursa segundo grado en la clase de Ellen. Amy ha servido a la comunidad de Muscota como madre de familia y secretaria de correspondencia. Este año, como vicepresidenta, su objetivo es garantizar que todas las familias tengan la información necesaria para sentirse valoradas en la comunidad de Muscota. ¡Apoyemos a nuestros niños y a su maravillosa escuela!

Cindy Mena was raised in the Washington Heights area. She currently still lives in Washington Heights with her Husband Herman and 2nd grader Ellie. When not busy with work, You can find Cindy and her family on weekend outings around the city, with family and friends.

My name is Liz Maggiotto. I have lived in Inwood for ten years with my husband David, and daughters Livia and Frida. Livia will be entering fourth grade at Muscota this year. I have worked in various leadership positions within the retail/fashion industry for the past two decades. Currently, I am pursuing higher education in mental health counseling. In my free time, I enjoy learning, spending time with my family and volunteering in the community.
Mi nombre es Liz Maggiotto. He vivido en Inwood durante diez años con mi esposo David y mis hijas Livia y Frida. Livia ingresará al cuarto grado en Muscota este año. He trabajado en varios puestos de liderazgo dentro de la industria minorista / de la moda durante las últimas dos décadas. Treasurer/tesorera | Andrea Cortes-Comerer
Andrea is a native New Yorker who lives in Inwood with her family. Her daughter attends Muscota, where Andrea is excited to serve as Treasurer of the Parents Association. Professionally, she works as a change management consultant and also owns a private bookkeeping practice. Andrea is also a choral singer with a deep passion for the arts. In her free time she enjoys fitness and exploring her neighborhood’s parks and gardens.
Andrea es neoyorquina y vive en Inwood con su familia. Su hija asiste a Muscota, donde Andrea está entusiasmada de ser la tesorera de la Asociación de Padres. Profesionalmente, trabaja como consultora de gestión de cambios y también tiene un despacho de contabilidad privado. Andrea también es cantante de coro y tiene una profunda pasión por las artes. Vince moved to NYC in 2008 after growing up in Kansas and spending some years in the Boston area. He and his wife Sage moved to Inwood in 2016. His 3rd-grader Elliott is in Colleen’s class, and 1st-grader Shep is in Sydney’s class. Vince has enjoyed offering his musical and audio engineering skills to various school events, and he wanted to find other ways to support the Muscota community by joining the board. He enjoys time with his family, biking and hiking, and listening to podcasts.
Vince se mudó a Nueva York en 2008 tras crecer en Kansas y pasar algunos años en el área de Boston. Él y su esposa, Sage, se mudaron a Inwood en 2016. Su hijo Elliott, de tercer grado, está en la clase de Colleen, y Shep, de primer grado, en la de Sydney. Vince ha disfrutado ofreciendo sus habilidades musicales y de ingeniería de audio en diversos eventos escolares, y quería encontrar otras maneras de apoyar a la comunidad de Muscota uniéndose a la junta directiva.
